My favorite game in the years 2007-2010 was Silkroad Online, an mmorpg which was based off ancient cities and trade routes.
It has one big city called Samarkand, specialized for trading goods.
I have always been inspired by ancient cities and because of that i tried to remake it in Hammer. Huge walls in the shape of an octagon with 4 large gates and inside big buildings decorated with tiles, Samarkand was created.
This map was completed 02/2011
